Chapter 00: Introduction In this tutorial we will explore techniques in Black Magic's Fusion to create a beautiful teleport-style effect. We will integrate our teleporting machine into a plate using various passes. We will also prepare effects for the teleportation using particles and the 3D space. We will learn to work in an efficient workflow and make a project with effects that can be used in various situations. Chapter 01: Integration To begin, we will look at how we can composite our rendered element into a plate. We will use color correctors and masks to help us with this and we will also animate some lights into the render. Chapter 02: Integration Continued In this chapter we will continue with our integration. We will also begin to add lighting effects. Chapter 03: Particles Next, we can begin to create our first effect for the machine using Fusion's powerful particles system. We will be examining a number of particle tools to help us achieve our effect. Chapter 04: More Particles and Additional Effects Here you'll learn how to create additional effects for the shot. We will be using the pImage Emitter to help us out and we will also be utilizing the 3D space for even more effects! Chapter 05: Examining Our Effects In this chapter we will examine the effects and see how we can improve the effects in our composite. We will also look at rendering a vector motion blur pass for the teleport machine. Chapter 06: Color Grading In this chapter we will take a look at the color grading in the shot. We will have a look at various nodes and give additional movement to our plate with lens effects and other elements.
