Основная функция данной программы – это быстрый набор текста любой комбинационной сложности. Благодаря возможности создания собственного набора символов (прэсета, шаблона) Вы сможете быстро набирать текст на каком угодно языке мира с последующим сохранением в rtf-формате или перемещать данные в буфер обмена; манипулировать символами различных информационных категорий, совмещать два и более знака, используя безынтервальные маркировки, работать с содержимым любого шрифта, установленного в системе (при этом сам шрифт остаётся в неизменном состоянии). MultiWriter – это слияние трёх программ: принцип работы известных файловых менеджеров (в конкретном случае имеется в виду оперирование символами), Charmap (отображение символов) и блокнота (тестовое поле) с полной поддержкой юникода (0000-10FFFF при выборе шрифта UniversaliaPlus). Интерфейс программы состоит, главным образом, из трёх частей: расположенная слева таблица отображает фиксированный набор символов выбранного шрифта, в таблице справа выводятся символы пользовательского набора (создаёте или загружаете), и, разделяющей две таблицы, панели базовых операций, обеспечивающие взаимодействие содержимого системного шрифта, пользовательского набора символов и текстового поля, находящегося в нижней части окна. Подробное описание принципа работы Вы сможете найти в файле help.mht (F1 после запуска программы). В структуре MultiWriter имеются многочисленные подсказки по каждой функции, так что особых затруднений при работе с программой возникнуть не должно. Межпользовательский обмен символьной информацией, созданной в программе multiwrite (важно!): Содержимое буфера обмена или чтение rtf-файла будет отображаться в полной мере у других пользователей, если в их операционной системе установлен тот же шрифт, благодаря которому создавался текст на Вашей системе. Большинство шрифтов не поддерживают все Юникод-категории или их диапазон символьных кодов варьируется в пределах от 0000 до FFFF. Исключением является шрифт UniversaliaPlus (имя файла в программе u2 [Unicode 7.0].otf), диапазон которого охватывает всё Юникод-пространство: 0000-10FFFF (dec: 0-1114111). К примеру, символами, не инициируемыми другими шрифтами, являются пиктограммы, расположеные за пределами значения FFFF (Dec: 65535), а именно: 127744-128511 в десятичном представлении. Поэтому другими шрифтами эти символы отображаться не будут (набор пустых квадратиков и всё).

Due to the possibility of creating your own character set (preset, template) You can quickly type text in any language of the world and saving it as rtf-format or move the data to the clipboard, to manipulate symbols of various information categories, combine two or more of these symbols, using businterface marking, to work with the contents of any font installed in the system (in this case the font remains unchanged). MultiWriter is a merger of three programs: the principle of the known file managers (in the specific case this refers to the manipulation of symbols), Charmap (displays the characters) and Notepad (text field) with full support of Unicode (0000-10FFFF when selecting a font UniversaliaPlus). The program interface consists mainly of three parts: the left table displays a fixed set of characters of the selected font in the table on the right displays the custom character set (create or load), and separating the two tables, panel base operations, providing interaction content system font, the user character set and a text field in the bottom of the window.
