The European Loco and Asset Pack is aimed at users creating and using independently developed content for Train Simulator. If you install a route created by an external (third party) developer, they may specify that you require this asset pack in order to use their product. This pack includes trackside detailing, trees and foliage, buildings, passengers and animals, as well as a number of UK and German locomotives. Please note: This pack does not include any ready-to-drive routes but all locomotives included are Quick Drive compatible, giving you the freedom to drive the locomotives on any Quick Drive enabled route for Train Simulator, such as those available through Steam. If you have Railworks or Train Simulator 2012, you already have the contents of this pack. Asset included:

Along with railways, the growth of the canal network was a visible sign of the industrial revolution across the UK. Using either horsepower or steam power, canal barges plied between the major manufacturing centres of Britain with deliveries of fuel and products, using a network of level canal ways with systems of locks to allow gradients to be negotiated. Many of those old canals can still be seen today, and a number of the former canal barges have been converted into brightly-painted narrow boats for holiday use and even as accommodation. The Canal Pack for Train Simulator includes a number of assets to enable you to create realistic canal scenes within Train Simulator routes. With wind power and sunlight energy being two of the most widely adopted resources, wind turbines and solar panels are becoming increasingly familiar sights in rural and coastal areas, and this pack enables route builders and scenario authors to add these striking structures to the landscape in Train Simulator. The Renewable Energy Pack includes 5 different styles of solar panels, as typically used in solar parks for harnessing sunlight energy. The Platform Clutter Scenery pack contains a selection of items that are themed around adding extra detail and clutter to platforms. New ticket machines, clocks, benches, luggage and more will allow you to customise and enhance the worlds you create in Train Simulator with additional detail.
The Construction Scenery Pack contains a selection of items that are themed around construction. Whether you want to create whole new construction sites on your routes or scenarios, or whether you want to augment existing scenes with aspects of construction such as fencing, cement mixers in the garden and so forth, there's something in this pack to help you.
