Релиз Scourge of War: Waterloo запланирован на 11 июня сего года. В игре предполагается около 20 отдельных сценариев за Пруссию, Британию и Францию разумеется. Плюс мультиплеерные сценарии и режим "песочницы". Одной из главных особенностей Scourge of War: Waterloo является наличие так называемой - цепочки командования, когда игрок не всегда может руководить всем сражением сразу, а вынужден выполнять приказы "сверху". За счет этого разработчики надеются показать насколько важно грамотное управление войсками на таком огромном поле боя. Так например, для отдачи приказа боевому соединению игроку понадобится сначала отправить туда специального курьера с приказом и затем дожидаться его выполнения. Как и в прошлых играх, в Scourge of War: Waterloo используется трехмерный движок, но все юниты на поле боя - плоские спрайты которые не оказывают большой нагрузки на происходящее. За счет этого возможно присутствие на поле боя одновременно многих тысяч виртуальных солдат. Разработчики подчеркивают соблюдение максимального реализма и историчности в том, что касается реально существовавшей разнообразной униформы, боевых флагов подразделений и присутствия исторических лидеров.
