Trials of Fire 1.03 Update"
This update focuses on some Tutorial updates for new players and some new modifiers to allow players to enjoy the game differently. We’ve also toned down the late game bosses slightly on Medium. Now that they all seem to be sitting at a more even level, we’re toning them all down slightly. Feature Updates
Custom portraits will now be remembered for each class until you change it. Tutorial Updates
Added Redrawing tutorial to the basic Combat Tutorial.
Added a tutorial for Underway (cavern) entrances. Modifiers Added the following optional game modifiers.
Added ‘Three Lives’ modifier.
You will be able to restart battles up to 3 times in a run after being defeated.
Added ‘Flesh Wound’ modifier.
Being defeated in a non-main path battle will not result in a game over. Boss Balance
Reduced the difficulty of Tier 3+ bosses slightly on Medium. Bugs
Fixed another issue with the Giant Worm head getting on top of its body.
Fixed the Dread Fly not being able to move or attack over obstacles.
Fixed being able to hone an item more than once.
Fixed ‘Juba’s Skull’ and ‘Rinn’s Manual’ legendaries not working properly together.

Trials of Fire 1.02 Update"
What a week! It’s been a super exciting time for us since the 1.0 launch last Friday. We’ve been gathering tons of feedback and data from all our new players that will really help us make the game even better going forward. This week’s update addresses some of the bugs that have been appearing and some small tweaks to the game’s bosses to make the challenge a bit more consistent at each boss tier. For the next week or two we will be focusing on:
Updated tutorials to help teach new players some of the mechanics that can still be unclear.
A handful of new modifiers to allow you to play differently.
More balance changes based on new player feedback and data. During this time. we will also publish a plan for content going forward. Bugs
Fixed player getting stuck in the Combat Run quest if you leave the game while camping.
Fixed the Hybrid Berserker advancing onto the same space as their allies.
Fixed the Giant Worm head from sometimes appearing on top of its body after being pushed/pulled.
Tons of typos! Boss Balance
Increased the Willpower of the Green Dragon.
Reduced the Willpower of the Red Dragon.
Reduced the Willpower of Lurker.
